Europe travelouge 2011: Italy, Venice

City of Canals

Without a doubt, when bf asked which part of Italy do I wanna visit, Venice was the op choice. It was always a dream to visit Venice one day and I was super excited when the flight landed at Venezia airport because I have finally set foot on Venice and I get to see the bf after a good 6 months! (:

Bf had bought the bus tickets prior my arrival and so off we embarked on our first stop! Everywhere is water in Venice :p so so fascinated with everything around me and we were to take a ferry to move around the island! Took awhile before we locate our hotel.

Hotel Bernardi Semenzato.
Address: Calle dell Oca 4366, 30121 CANNAREGIO Venice, Italy
Phone:+39 041 522 7257

Checked in and was surprised that we got to stay at another apartment nearby. It was a nicely furnished room with marble flooring. Realised there was no photo of the hotel :c It was one of the best hotel we stayed in throughout our whole Europe trip partly because the boy booked it as it was our anniversary that day <3 The hotel is within walking distance to San Marco (or rather everywhere is by foot unless you don't mind paying for gondolas) ;)

Photos time! Remind me so much of the movie "Tourist" :D

I was so excited when Chanel boutique was spotted! lol In fact there were also Miumiu, Prada and several other brands too! Tip: For those made in Italy brands it is advisable to purchase your luxury goods in the home country as the tax refund is the highest (:

Italy is definitely the HOTTEST country and both of us were like chao-ta :c That explains the tee + shorts + flipflops combi on me, seriously the weather was too hot for me to bother about dressing up!

Dinner was made up of pasta/lasagna/pizza.

 Happy anniversary <3

Rise and shine and continue on our second & last day in Venice :( Walked around abit more and had our last lunch before departing for the train station. We did what Italian do best, SQUID INK PASTA! yums.
