Taiwan travelouge: Sun Moon Lake & Cing Jing

14-15 May 2012

Sun Moon Lake (日月潭)

Mr. Liao arranged for his friend, Mr. Wu to pick us up at Alishan and we departed for Cingjing while enroute pass by SML, where we took a fery tour.

Spot the building below? It is supposedly one of the most expensive hotels around.

There were a total of 4 stops if I rmb correctly. You can dropped off at the stops and do some touring while oarding back the next ferry at no additional costs!

We had to battle many chinese tourists to get this shot taken. SML was flooded with tourists and they seriously have not much manners. >:-(

One of the stops we embarked on, it was a small island selling touristy food. Mr Wu recommended us to try the chicken drums stall below but unfortunately it was closed on that day we visited :(
So guys, remember to try this stall if you ever go SML!

Famous Chen Ji Muah Chee

Continued on our journey to Cing Jing (清境)!

Looked at how huge the cabbage was? O.O

Checked in at the minsu which was recommended by Mr. Liao (apologies no photo) and the two of us got a huge room for SIX! :D not to mention, we have a fantastic balcony view for Sun rise! We really tried to wake up to catch the sun rise............. but failed :x The roadtrips really drained us out badly. But I would say Mr. Liao's recommendation was good!

Next morning rise and shine and we visited the famous 青青草原 to see meh-meh :p Look at how clear the sky was! the weather was good perhaps due to Cing Jing being situated at the top of the mountains.

There were so many sheeps roaming around the place and no one was around to look after them, so basically you get to walk around and chase after the sheep if you wnat! LOL but also it means having poops lying around :o

Signature jumpshot in front of the windmill :D

Not only sheeps, there's pony and horse too

Roamed around for abt 40mins or so and we left to met up with our Hualien's driver, Mr. Lee! The next journey will cover He Huan Shan, Tarogo gorge, Qi Xing Tan and Hua Lien. Be back soon!
